Listed below are some of the guests that will be attending and more will be added as they are confirmed!!

Some guests will charge for their autograph.  A list will be provided at the show.  We will sell tickets at the entrance for the autographs which will be used at the guests table.  You must purchase one ticket for each autograph you get (i.e. if you have 2 items to be signed, then you will need to purchase two tickets).

Jackson Bostwick: Saturday morning's Shazam! brought the world Jackson Bostwick as Captain Marvel. Bostwick's era as the Big Red Cheese began in the early 1970's and is only the second guy in history to play Captain Marvel. Tom Tyler was the first in 1941 in the old Republic Studios serial "The Adventures of Captain Marvel." Bostwick became very good friends with C.C. Beck, the artist of Captain Marvel from the Golden Age of comics. He was the original Captain Marvel on the live-action TV show, and set the standard for the highly-rated children's series, which ran for several years.

Jennifer McCollom has been a makeup and effects artist for movies, tv and commercials. Some of work includes Missippi Damned and Talladega Nights. Come see her at PaperHeroesCon!!!

Niki Lemonade is an aspiring graphic novelist, and amateur craftslady. She is the creator of My Fake Heart and sells her items at conventions.

Mark Poole is an illustrator for Magic: The Gathering. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts and Design). He has also done work for other gaming companies including White Wolf Studios, Warcraft, Sony Online Entertainment (Legends of Norrath) and Upper Deck.  Mark Poole was one of the original illustrators for the first set of Magic: The Gathering.  He painted 26 cards for the ALPHA set including 3 different Island pictures.

Al Bigley studied at the Ringling School of Art. He began his career in the late 1980s by working on the First Publishing titles 'The Badger' and 'Sable'. He then did artwork for DC's 'The Fly' and 'Race Warrior' and Marvel's 'Iron Man', 'West Coast Avengers', 'Scarlet Witch' and 'Darkhold' throughout the early 1990s. For Archie Comics, he drew 'Archie and Friends' and 'Sonic the Hedgehog', and for Image, he cooperated on 'Geminar'. He has illustrated stories for Disney's 'A Bug's Life', 'Monsters Inc.' and 'Lilo & Stitch' since 2002. He has also illustrated coloring books, story books and merchandise.

Jennie Breeden is the creator of the autobiographical webcomic The Devil's Panties. She lives in Atlanta with her boyfriend and his cat. When she was little she wanted to be a ballerina when she grew up.

Dan Johnson is a North Carolina-born writer, who is first and foremost a fan himself. Dan's love of horror, science fiction and comic books, all of which were cultivated at an early age, fueled his desire to step up from the sidelines of fandom and get into the game as a creative voice.
Dan began his professional writing career while still in college, contributing to several Triad based publications. Dan's first nationally published work came less than a year after he graduated college when he began contributing articles to Scary Monsters Magazine. Since that time, Dan has had articles published in Alter Ego, Back Issue, Comic Book Marketplace, Con-Tour, Filmfax, Hogan's Alley, Monster Memories and Monster News. His work has also appeared in such online publications as Monster Kid and Monster News Online, as well as the comics news website www.comicon.com.
Dan has also had material appear in the humor magazine Thwak and his first graphic novel, Herc and Thor Pocket Manga Volume One, which follows the misadventures of the legendary Hercules and Thor, was released in late 2006 by Antarctic Press. Currently, Dan is a script writer for Creature Feature, a horror host show starring Dr. Gangrene, which appears on WNAB-TV 58, the Nashville, TN CW affiliate and he is a gag writer for the Dennis the Menace comic strip, which is seen world wide.

Ursula Vernon is a professional artist who lives in North Carolina. She uses both traditional and digital media, with most of her art going through several stages of planning both on paper and computer.  She currently produces an online comic Digger, which features a wombat, dead gods, white peacocks, and other misfits and ne'er-do-wells.  Her first children's book called Nurk, the strange surprising adventures of a (somewhat) brave shrew - which features the adventures of a (somewhat) brave shrew.  Ursula's work uses a range of styles, sometimes realistic, sometimes humorous and cute. One of her recurring themes is Gearworld, a world that juxtaposes the organic and the inorganic.  Ursula's cover for Best in Show  won the Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Published Illustration in 2003, and she was nominated for the 2006 Eisner Awards in the category Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition for her work on Digger.

Thomas A. Boatwright is the Harvery Award nominated artist behind the Shadowline comic, "Cemetery Blues." He also provided artwork for "The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo." Thomas lives in Piedmont region of North Carolina.

Larry "mckenzee" Holderfield has traveled the world, taking photos, writing bad poetry and falling in love. He now combines these interests in his webcomic, Sinister Bedfellows.  He also maintains the intertubes, juggles lasers and doesn't sleep or write enough.   He is currently a cartoonist at Updown Studios, CEO of Sinister Bedfellows, and is the founder of North Carolina WebComics Coffee Clatch (An organization for the cross promotion and networking of comic creators in North Carolina).

Robert Harris from Cabin Fever - Used to entertain troops as a child with his singing and dancing.  Earned his SAG card, at age 72, on Cabin Fever (2002) after a lifetime in the theater.   He played the role of Old Man Cadwell.  He has had appearences in many other films such as Wesley, The key Man, and The Ultimate Gift to name a few.

William Jones got his start as an actor by appearing in several North Carolina haunted houses, including Hacker House in Mt. Airy and Spooky Woods in High Point. Performing at such attractions prepared William well for his role as a Truck Driver in Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever.
After getting his big break in the gory cult classic, William began appearing in a wide variety of regional commercials. Still, horror is the genre for which William has a flare. Besides Cabin Fever, William has also appeared in Truck Stop Massacre, a comedy film that is centered around the making of a horror film, which was produced through the North Carolina School of the Arts. William’s most recent horror role was in Bone Creek, a supernatural thriller, which was produced through the University of North Carolina Film School.

Mike Moon: North Carolina native Mike Moon is an illustrator & industrial designer specializing in catgirl art. After graduating Graham High School and North Carolina Governors School program in Visual Arts, Mike majored in Cinema at the University of Southern California, later graduated with High Honors in Computer Graphics from Alamance Community College, and received  Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Industrial Design at North Carolina State University. He credits Charles Shultz, Neal Adams and Dave Cockrum for his love for comics, and Syd Mead who inspired him to study Industrial Design. Mike's favorite movie is Star Trek: The Motion Picture, favorite director is Hayao Miyazaki, and favorite anime is Space Cruiser Yamato. His site of stories, illustration & photography is Catgirl Island, and he's 'Purrducer' of The Catgirl Critics' Media Mewsings.

Jamie Robertson is the creator of the webcomic, Clan of the Cats and likes to draw witches.  Jamie was born about the same time The Beatles came to, but didn't get into art until JAWS was a firm blockbuster. He has been doing the Clan of the Cats for over six years now. The comic is an urban fantasy about a witch, Chelsea Chattan, who is also afflicted by an ancient family curse. In times of stress she transforms into a black panther. This, coupled by her increasing magical power, makes having an ordinary life rather challenging.
